Hi! My name is Sid Su. I work for IBM. I was previously a Mathematics and Computer Science double major at the University of Maryland. I'm now an alum ➕➖✖️➗.

My main interests are in Numeric Analysis, Functional Analysis and Cryptography. I also have a passion for DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, a bit of OpenShift and a lot of Debian 🍥.

When I'm not doing math and coding, I like to ski, and I play the flute in the Mighty Sound of Maryland (marching band). Go Terps! ⛷🪈🐢

I also love studying ancient history, specifically the late Roman Empire (late antiquity). It's a really interesting period characterized by the devolution of power, new politics and a uniquely complex military structure. It's tropey, but the Roman Empire is literally my Roman Empire 🏛.
